How it feels for the people you call

There's nothing for them to learn. They simply talk.

Will they have to download something?

No. There's no app, extension or account. They stay in the call they're already in and hear the translation right there.

Isn't a bot in the call awkward?

It appears as "Lingvoo Translator", so everyone knows what it is. A single line is enough to let people know:

I've invited a translator, so each of us can talk in our own language.

What does the voice sound like?

Like a real person speaking, not a machine reading aloud. You hear it inside the call, with subtitles alongside, so you don't miss a word.

Is there a delay?

Our translation engine replies in less than a second after the speaker ends a phrase. That's quick enough for a natural conversation.

Where does the conversation go?

The audio is translated as it comes in, and nothing is recorded or stored after the call. Subtitles are saved in your account, and support will delete them if you ask. All connections are encrypted.

When the translator joins a Zoom call, the host gets a request to allow recording. That's how it hears the call; no recording is stored.

Where your call goes

The audio is translated while it streams and isn't stored once the call is over. Subtitles are saved in your account, and we'll delete them if you ask. All connections are encrypted.

When the translator joins a Zoom call, the host gets a request to allow recording. That's how it hears the call; no recording is stored.

The benchmarks, minute and country figures, and quotes come from Palabra.ai and Talo, both built on the same engine. They are about the engine, not about Lingvoo's own customers.

Can I try it for free?

Yes, with a free live demo: inside the signup quiz you can speak with Lingvoo for about a minute, with no account and no card. To bring it into your own calls, you begin with an intro: a few days that include translation minutes, followed by the plan you pick. Checkout shows the exact offer and price, in your local currency where it's available.

Does the person I'm talking to have to install something?

Nothing at all. Lingvoo Translator enters the call the way any guest does. They hear the translation inside the call, and they can open the listener link in a browser to get subtitles or switch to another language.

Which meeting apps are supported?

Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, on computers and phones. Paste your meeting link and the translator comes in. Phone calls, WhatsApp and live streams aren't supported.

How many languages are there?

60+ languages, regional variants included. You choose 2 to 10 of them for each call, and Lingvoo recognizes which language each person is speaking.

How do minutes work?

We don't count the language someone is speaking, so every minute of the call uses one minute less than the number of languages you picked. A 30-minute call uses 30 minutes in two languages and 60 in three. In a two-language call, one intro minute covers roughly one minute of talking.

What happens when the intro ends?

Unless you cancel, your plan begins as soon as the intro is over and renews every period with fresh minutes, at the price shown at checkout. You can cancel at any time in Account Settings › Manage billing.

Do you record my calls?

The audio is translated as you speak and isn't stored once the call ends. Subtitles are saved in your account; email support@lingvoo.com and we'll delete them. On Zoom, the host gets a request to allow recording, since that's how the translator hears the call; nothing is kept.

How good is the translation?

Good enough for real conversations, from sales calls and interviews to family chats. In an April 2026 benchmark, the engine Lingvoo runs on averaged a 2.4% word error rate. When legal or medical decisions are involved, use it as support and double-check the key points, as you would with any interpreter.

Will it work for a webinar or a large meeting?

Yes, when you run it as a standard Zoom, Meet or Teams meeting. Up to 500 people can follow along on the listener link, each one in their own language. Zoom Webinar isn't supported.

Can I cancel whenever I want?

Yes. It takes a couple of clicks in Account Settings › Manage billing, and your minutes stay with you until the period ends.
